My Background & Experience
About Sana
I’m so glad you’re here! I’m an educator, coach, and former teacher who provides academic support and coaching to 7th-12th grade students and their parents.
My background has shaped who I am, and led me to the work I do today.
The middle school and high school years are hard. For students and parents.
It’s a lot to juggle all at once. Math classes. Academics. Co-curriculars. Learning gaps. Grades. Organization. Time management. Confidence. Family relationships and conflicts.
Are you doing the right thing? Are you saying the right thing? How can you actually help your student?
It’s not on you to have all the right answers. That’s what I’m here for.
I want to support you and your student in finding the right path forward. One that will lead to less stress, and greater confidence and success for your whole family.
My mission is to co-create solutions with you and your family as your trusted partner.

My work, and the impact I hope to make through it, has often been centered around relationships and education.
One of the reasons I wanted to become a teacher in the first place, was to get to know my students and create a positive impact in their learning.
And what better way to do that than by teaching them my favorite subject—math!
I taught math for eight years at Oak Park and River Forest High School. During my time there, I also coached teachers and supported professional development and curriculum design.
Through my experiences, I learned academic success isn’t just about tutoring or grades. It’s about seeing and supporting the whole picture.
When students have the skills, confidence, and support system they need, and parents have the clarity to make decisions, everyone has the potential to succeed.
